Business Sweden, the Swedish trade and invest council, has a mandate and a mission to help Swedish companies expand globally and international companies establish and grow in Sweden.
The project
The initial requirement was for a copyeditor to create marketing content for external channels communicating the complexities of Sweden and Swedish companies’ value and contribution to the green transition, sustainable business growth, and industry innovations as part of a full-service, in-house agency team.
The scope evolved over time to include to delivering strategic communications and content for high-level state visits, a landmark investment summit, Expo 2020, COP27, and COP28.
Specific long-term projects included:
- working with the Nordic Battery Collaboration team with partners from Business Finland and Innovation Norway to develop messaging, web content, and external communications.
- communications lead on the organisation’s diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging internal activities
- lead content development and creation for an internal playbook on delivering export promotion activities
But also...
The scope also included hosting and moderating news and panel discussions, conducting behind the scenes interviews with key opinion leaders from industry, business, academia, and politics.
